Peyto Lake is one of the most surreal places in the Canadian Rockies. The first time I saw this lake, it inspired me to take up photography and I never looked back. For three years after that, I had this crazy dream to photograph the lake after the first snowfall but before the lake had frozen. Years passed and I never got the opportunity to make it happen. And then one snowy day, I managed to not only capture Lake Louise but the Wolf (as the locals call it) as well. This photo is one of the most special pictures I’ve ever captured. This frame captures my entire photography career in one photo. I hope it inspires you as much as it inspires me!
